The restaurant was really lovely, with attentive staff and quick service. The food was delicious, with great portion sizes and nicely presented. Do wish the prawn crackers came with some sweet chilli!

Perfect Thai Takeaway Visiting my parents over the Festive Period, we decided to try a Takeaway from The Siam Bistro . We were all very impressed with the quality of the food. The chicken Satay and Spring Rolls were cooked just perfectly and the Chicken with Cashew Nuts was one of the best I have ever eaten. The Pad Thai was great. Overall the food was excellent and piping hot and the compostable packaging so much better than horrible plastic containers. A real gem of a Thai Restaurant and I look forward to ordering another takeaway or visiting the restaurant in the near future . A real credit to Braunton and I really cannot recommend enough .

Strongly recommend! I am new to Thai food and my visit to Siam Bistro was a lovely introduction to it. The food was delicious and the host was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I liked the interior and décor too, very cosy.

Very nice restaurant with very friendly staff.
Food was outstanding,we chose 4 different starters and 6 different mains which are served with various rice or vegetables,the food was very fresh with beautiful Thai flavours.
The rose wine was good and the lager (Singha) was superb and was on draft.
Would definitely recommend a visit here and will certainly visit again when in the area.

Excellent food good service We booked a table for a mid week meal. Was shown to our table and given menus straight away. A couple of minutes later was asked if we would like any drinks. These came very quickly. We ordered or meals and they were delicious. Excellent quality meals and great service. Would go back and would recommend.

Superb restaurant I have probably been to Siam about 6 times now and although small its an outstanding restatraunt. Family run by extremely lovely people who are,always friendlt and heloful with great customer service. Food is delicious you won’t be disappointed!

Best Thai we have had Went to this small, intimate restaurant on a recommendation from a local pub landlord. Food was out of this world and very friendly staff, would imagine it would get very busy in high season but luckily for us only a few couples in there (6pm Thursday evening)

Great food, atmosphere and staff We had a lovely evening at The Siam Bistro. The food was first class, the restaurant itself was nice and the staff very attentive. It beats our local Thai in Cheltenham by a mile. I would thoroughly recommend paying a visit.

Made extremely welcome Newly established, we thought we would give it a try for our wedding anniversary. We left it up to the proprietor to come up with the dishes and we were certainly not disappointed. The food there is delicious and reasonably priced.

Busy and buzzy! As soon as we walked into this restaurant with our friends, the fantastic buzz was apparent. Even at 18:30, the place was rammed with happy customers having a great time. The Thai menu was extensive and varied so making your choice was tricky! We all shared two plates of fried squid to start – this was exceptional and not just the usual battered rings. The batter was deliciously light, textured and crunchy and the squid was in lovely big chunks, with a spicy, tangy dip. Gorgeous! Mains were a good portion size and the spicing was spot on for the hotter dishes. The coconut rice (you can choose the rice to accompany your dish) was very good indeed. All the meals were very tasty and resulted in four clean bowls. Service was attentive and accurate. And the restaurant was just as busy when we left around 20:15 as it had been when we arrived. It shows that the restaurant is getting it just right.

Excellent range of dishes on the menu and the wine list is very decent. Attentive, helpful service and the food was of excellent quality and beautifully cooked and presented. Generous portions too. All in all a great night out and can thoroughly recommend a visit.

Birthday take away Very glad that we chose Siam Bistro for a friend’s meal recently. All the dishes we had were delicious and they even gave a little present for my friend when they heard it was his birthday. Will definitely be visiting again.

Outstanding Thai food The food was excellent, amazing dishes with fresh ingredients cooked to the right tenderness, and exactly the right combination of spices. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Dinner with Son Saw this on trip advisor and decided to give it a try, walked past on the Friday night almost empty which was a bit worrying. Kept faith and went back on Saturday night and glad we did. Staff were excellent very helpful and eager to give advice. The food was really good, very authentic and lots of it we will be going back again.

Highly recommend the Siam Bistro. Freshly made food with fantastic flavours. You won’t regret a visit here.

Best Thai ever! Amazing, friendly service and best Thai food we ever had- not to be missed. We stayed nearby for 4 nights and two of those nights we had dinner here it was so good 🙂

Excellent Excellent food in this small restaurant. Even has a takeaway menu.
The three of us shared 3 dishes a pad Thai , green curry and a bbq chicken all of which were delicious. The fried bananas and coconut ice cream were amazing.

A Spicy Delight. This is a must if you are visiting Braunton / Croyde area.We visited it 3 times in August with different family groups and on every occassion it was superb. From the time you enter to the time you leave you are treated to a range of wonderous tastes. The menu is varied and caters for all tastes , with a wide selection of oriental food all perfectly cooked and presented. The staff are so pleasant and helpful and the owner / manager works fulltime with the customers. Advice, book early to avoid disappointment.

Amazing Thai We went here whilst visiting family in braunton and we not disappointed. This is by far and away the best Thai food I have ever tasted. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and even the chef came out to say hi!! Will go back time and time again. Does not disappoint!! It deserves to be number one on here!!!

Amazing food and great service! We were staying in Georgeham over New Year. We arrived late to our cottage so we fancied a takeaway. We are both vegan so had a look to see what was around. We came across The Siam Bistro and it had some good options. We phoned to order and the guy taking our order was so helpful he let us know what was vegan and even made a few dishes up for us. It was a busy eve being New Year’s Eve but he couldn’t apologise enough for the delay. It was so worth the wait, we both couldn’t believe how tasty it was, the spring rolls are so good I wish we had ordered more. Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed. I wish we lived closer as I would back in a heartbeat! Keep up the great work guys!

Little gem in Braunton Rated highly on trip advisor so I decided to give it a go on a busy Friday night
Greeted by two staff members and table set swiftly and politely
Dining alone, i was gutted to hear couple at next day tell the waiter that the starters for two were the best Thai they have ever had 🙁

Whilst reviewing menu received Free Thai crackers and sauce with a cold Singha beer

Ordered prawn toast which was delivered piping hot within five minutes and very good

Ordered Thai green chicken curry and egg fried rice – was very good but a tad spicy – so suggest calling out what you want

Ambience – nice and informal with light background music
Decor – simple and classic
Service – attentive and quick

Visited the Bistro while down in Devon for a long weekend. Absolutely wonderful food. Really good quality and reasonable prices. Probably the best Thai I’ve been to in the past few years!

Absolutely outstanding Regrettably we left it to the last day of our break before ordering a takeaway. Not only was our food just wonderful but the welcome from the host and the service was faultless. I cannot ever recall eating better Thai food anywhere in this country. The Siam is a must visit. Truly outstanding 100% recommend.

Tasty food and excellent service! The Siam Bistro has just opened. The decor is smart and the atmosphere relaxed. My husband and I had a lovely meal there, the food is very tasty and we ordered starters followed by our ‘test’ dish (red Thai curry) but next time look forward to exploring their menu further. The head chef is from Laos and her food is flavoursome and delicious. The service is exemplary and friendly. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be returning very soon!

Top quality restaurant We visited last night and this is a great way to say thank you for a great night.
The food is local sourced and a excellent quality. We all had something different and glad we did, as we got to try each others. Without hesitation we will return and for Braunton this would be my first choice. It’s a well spaced reasonable sized place with lovely warm staff, and a manager who makes a point of spending some time to talk to you.
